The Guildhall is one of Poole's finest Georgian buildings, with a double stairway on the outside leading to the first floor entrance. Constable Inkpen would have spent a lot of time here - the market was held in the arches underneath, the magistrates court sat in the chambers above, and the Police Station was next door.
